Rebecca McCormick
"The future belongs to a very different kind of person with a very different kind of mind."
At the start of her studies Rebecca found an interest in web development, but now can also confidently complement her inner programmer with visual design. For example, whilst on placement, Rebecca developed an online e-learning solution which required her to be both a programmer and designer. Due to such projects, both Rebecca’s programming and design skills have grown, and her confidence in both fields of development have allowed her to build applications that “look as good as they function”.
Wanting to build interactive experiences on a multitude of formats (including mobile), Rebecca also has other interests in flash animation development, object orientated development, modelling and android application development using adobe AIR. She has also most recently found a passion for image and video editing and hopes to continue building on these skills whilst in education and throughout her working life. Rebecca feels that when working as part of a team, each member should give 110% and support each other where possible. After all each member will have different strengths and weaknesses in different areas.
